Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about paint protection film, ceramic coating and graphene coating, based on the information provided for our specialist service pages.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

How long does PPF last?+

Entry-level films usually last 3 to 5 years, mid-range films 5 to 8 years, and premium films can last beyond 10 years with proper care.

Does PPF prevent dents?+

No. PPF helps protect against stone chips, scratches, UV exposure and staining, but it does not absorb an impact that causes a dent.

Will PPF change how my paint looks?+

Gloss PPF preserves your paint colour and can add visual depth. Matte PPF creates a satin appearance on a glossy finish.

PPF or ceramic coating: which do I need?+

PPF is a physical barrier for chips and scratches. Ceramic coating boosts gloss and makes washing easier. Many owners choose a coating over PPF.

Can PPF be removed later?+

Yes. When installed and removed professionally, PPF can be removed while helping preserve the paint beneath it.

Ceramic & Graphene Coating

What is the difference between ceramic and graphene coating?+

Both enhance gloss and help protect paint. Graphene coating adds graphene technology to support heat management, reduced static and easier maintenance; the right choice depends on your car and ownership plans.

Does a coating protect against stone chips and scratches?+

A coating can improve resistance to light wash swirls, but it cannot stop stone chips or deep scratches. PPF is the suitable option for physical impact protection.

My car already has swirl marks. Can it still be coated?+

Yes. Paint correction is completed first to improve the paint condition before the coating is applied.

How soon can I wash my car after coating?+

Coatings continue to cure during the first week. Avoid washing and rain exposure during that period, then use pH-neutral shampoo and soft microfiber. We provide care instructions for your treatment.

Will I still need to wash my car regularly?+

Yes, but routine washing becomes easier because dirt does not bond as strongly to a well-maintained coated surface.
